Commute & O-Train · McKellar Park area
Can you cycle from McKellar Park toward downtown?
Short answer
The Capital Pathway runs along the Ottawa River (Kichi Zibi Mikan) at the north edge of McKellar Park, giving a route along the river. Parliament Hill is about 6.7 km from the neighbourhood centre in a straight line.
As of · Updated
The Byron Linear Tramway Park, a former streetcar corridor, also crosses the neighbourhood.
Keep in mind. The 6.7 km figure is straight-line, not a cycling route length.
