Why did McKellar Park move to a different ward?
Short answer
On December 9, 2020, Ottawa city council approved new ward boundaries that moved McKellar Park from Kitchissippi Ward to Bay Ward, effective with the 2022 election. This followed a finance committee motion to keep the Bay–Kitchissippi line at Sherbourne Road, which was voted down.

CBC reported that the boundary change upset some McKellar Park residents.
